One person's junk is another person's treasure ....
We had a totally disorganized drawer of odds and ends in our farm house kitchen when I was growing up which commonly was called the "junk drawer." All kinds of odds and ends were kept in that drawer. I think the rule of thumb for placing something in that drawer was basically does the item belong anywhere else?
This information may be "junk" to some and hopefully close to a "treasure" for others. All I can do is share. You get to decide what drawer these belong in (or possible place in the circular file.) .....

Parents:

Coaching Tip:
Most players do not understand how to adjust their defensive approach based on their foul load. It can be taught during practice. A good time to teach this is during your defensive shell drills. Set up situations with the defensive players and assign them different numbers of fouls and see if they can learn to "manage" their foul situation.
Coaching Tip:
The quality of the pass will affect the quality of the shot and even more
importantly the quality of the footwork of the shooter will affect the quality
of the shot. We emphasized to our players that EVERY shooting drill was also
a passing drill!

- Winston Churchill failed the sixth grade.
- Steven Spielberg dropped out of high school in his sophomore year. He
was persuaded to come back to school and was placed in a learning
disabled class. He stayed in school for a month and dropped out again
never to return. .... taken from Don Meyer's clinic notes

Coaching Tip:
When calling blob, we would add the word "again" if we were disguising a play. For example, if we had a play called "green" and we had previously
run the play. The next blob situation I might call out run "green again." We
would align the exact same way as we did in green but by adding "again" to the call the action would be different.
Lots of good quotes! Keep up the good work!
